I suppose you could catch a bunch of flyers in that trap. Snakes too maybe?
I never thought of snakes I bet you could

No harm in trying them. Put your arm through there and see how hard it is to pull it out.
Check 'em out at sportsmansguide.com, items g2d-218132 & -134. Less than $10 each.
Rodents -yes; crawdads-yes; snakes-I personally wouldn't try to trap a snake in anything with bigger than 1/4" mesh.
Sportsman's Guide is a heckuva catalog and I've done business with them for about 15 years.
Yup that's where my got them
If your looking for bulk ammo they have some deals from time to time .
You guys up north seem to have all the good sporting goods stores! Around St. Louis, there's "The Sports Authority" (not even fishing gear), Dick's and REI. REI is a heckuva good place for technical gear, lights, camping stuff, etc., but when I needed a landing net in an emergency none of those places have 'em!
It's probably a good idea that Cabela's and Bass Pro Sports are about an hours drive away, or I'd be in there all the time! I heard that there was gonna be a Gander Mtn. going in our county, but the recession hit and shot that to Hades. Does Sportsman's Guide have stores?
We have a cabelas not to fare away but there higher than bass pro and that's really close by me . Gander mt is cheaper but never seems to have what you need and don't put the price on the things you do need . Went to this other gander mountain that's in port Huron about a hour away or so maybe 1 1/2 hours . It was like outdoor heaven . They had it all and even had price tags . The place is very well stocked . Dunmans has cheaper prices on most things but it's aimed more like dicks at sports . Yes we have outdoor stores around every corner . Even tractor supply is adding in a few deer hunting things now . I have one small mom and pop store just down the road called KDs and they call me by name when I walk in the store I guess I did give one of my deer hunting spots to the owner . He will order me anything I want . Tryed to help him get into the trap supply store but he never did go with it . I look back and think what was I thinking . Ya that's what we need a bunch of bass fisherman and deer hunter running around with conibears and leg holds .
Dave, I don't mean to make you jealous ( Yes I do ) but we have a Gander Mountain with the largest selection of guns in the state about ten minutes away and a Cabelas that's 15 minutes away. ( And a Fleet and Farm that probably has as good a deals about 12 minutes away.)
I remember going into a G. Mtn. store up in Madison several January's ago. Spent about 20 minutes in the ice fishing aisle trying to figger out all the tackle.
(Ice!!! Hey, Honey, they have ICE on the lakes up here!! You can play hockey on this stuff! I remember ice on lakes from when I was a kid. That was baack before every idiot kid's parents sued the lake owners cuz their kid fell thru.)
