Just curious could any of you make money bidding attic clean outs and replace insulation for $1 a sq. ft.? Remove soiled batt insulation, clean up guano, treat for bugs, encapsulate, deodorize, and replace with TAP Insulation.

Some cleaning companies arround here started popping up doing exactly that last year. I learned about it whan a customer told me that I Over Charged him. You can not tell me that they do a propper job for that, probobly just a couple of spots and a blow over.

I don't even think you could blow insulation back in for a dollar per square foot, let alone deodorize, parasite treatment, etc...Then you have disposal fees on top of that for the old insulation. We usually bid ours from $6 on up. Lots of factors.

You should get there number so you can sub contract them to do the job and you can just stay home and collect checks!
