Re: hancock trap - 09/03/12 01:11 AM

Steve, was it just a little bit wider ?

Re: hancock trap - 09/03/12 01:17 AM

I think it was about 4 coils wider. So I had to move the L brackets out and get longer timber spikes to hold the spring .

nobody has the correct spring for it.Hancock trap company would not return my calls, koro would not get back to me,WCS did not have them in stock.I even called some local guys that have hancocks and they say their having the same problem. I got the bailey springs from Tomahawk.

I don't think anyone from our office would have said "they stopped making them" ! The manufacturer did have a problem with the steel quality for awhile, but we have them in stock now !!

Last I heard, Hancock has ceased production of traps and springs.
