FIRE - 06/24/12 08:20 PM

Boy my home state of Colorado is burning up to many fires caused by absolute stupidity by an inconsiderate public that don't think before they act. I would like to kick anyone in no no areas that flick they're cigarette buts out the window or disregard the fire bans while they are out camping. Please keep your thoughts and prayers out for all those unfortunate people who have lost they're to these fires.

There are way to many reckless campers and smokers out there everywhere. I have scolded many in my lifetime for their inconsiderate behavior and reported some to the authorities with their license numbers over the years where I knew I saved some losses.

Don't get me started about litterbug smokers, or smoking litterbugs. I could tell you the story about the builders who were throwing lit cig's on the ground in August at ALL OUT World Headquarters. Not exactly brain surgeons.

Does anybody ever build there houses out Of things that don't burn . My buddy built his house out of one of them steel buildings . Steel beams ,siding , roofing . Couldn't burn that down . Fires are natural and renew the areas they burn . I guess I don't understand why you would build a house out of wood in a area that burns down every few years . If they where all fire proof people could just step aside and let it burn . Looks like some of them houses are log built homes . Most likly some biulding code hey you can't biuld your out of steel . Could use rocks to . Rock walls and a steel roof

Quote:
"Jamestown Fire Chief Tom Salidino said the home's owner had lit a mole bomb -- a device that smokes out ground moles.

Sparks from the bomb set the grass on fire. The fire then spread to a storage shed, and then to the wooden deck of the home. It wasn't long before the entire back portion of the house was burning."

The structure shown within the article linked below was built with steel walls, steel roof and steel beams. The solid steel structure made the fire burn even hotter incinerating everything on the inside, making it much more difficult for the fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire. The ATF was called in by the state to help investigate since the fire was so devastating and a little suspicious.

Never seen a steel building that wasn't double-butt ugly. I just built a horse barn of 100% wood with a steel roof, but it's just two stalls. I won't ever store hay in it, however.

I'm never home anyway , so I could care what my house looks like . Nice to have a house to come home too . Dug up my whole yard this year and planted it all in garden , don't have to mow it anymore ether less gas . Sprayed it with round up first so no weeds ether .
