In Mid 60's in Southgate , My granddad introduced me to a man from Tennessee who said he was a hillbilly his name was Vernon and he had a wife named Viola, and they had a daughter named Verna. I didn't believe he was a hillbilly because he never heard of Jed Clampett. True Story!

Pesky sorry to steal your thread . I just figure you got nice folks any how.

Anything I ever learned about hillbillies came from something that Jethro Bodine said anyway! wink

Thank you for sharing your videos !!

Thats not a problem with me Robb . The house that the video was shot at ,is my kids grand parents . There granpa was a true hillbilly . He went to school to the second grade and died last dec and never did learn to read or right and never needed to . He was a coal miner till he met his wife . They knew each other 1 day and got married and bought her a pair of shoes which was the first knew pair . They moved from WV to Michigan and got a good job at GM and worked for Pontiac steel . He was a very hard working man and honest as well . Very good people that know how to survive , and cook boy can grandma cook .
