I have some starlings that keep eating my dogs food and he just sits and watches them. I live in the city therefore I can not use a pellet gun or .22 any ideas on how to get rid of them would be greatly appreciated

Strange, my dogs eat the Starlings for eating thier food....Payback is a pain...

But seriously, if there is food left in your dog's dish he's self regulating his intake. You're feeding him too much.

What Matt said. Some of the worst rodent jobs are where the customer feeds his pets free choice (i.e., eat all day). Could it get any better for wildlife than to have free, extremely nutritious food replenished daily???

Wait just a cotton picken minute! We always had self-regulating feeders and no wild varmits ever bothered them. ( More than once ) That's what our dogs called "dessert". And they were soft-mouthed English setters and Labs.
