Birds in Warehouse

have a customer with a large warehouse with constantly open doors that is full of birds. I thought this would be a perfect situation for the Avi-Haze system but apparently this is no longer an option (no-one makes them anymore).
I assume that the subsonic repellers do not work (they don't work on anything else)are the lasers effective?
I don't think the problem is severe enough that they will spend the money on netting the entire warehouse. The doors have to remain open for airflow and forklift traffic. They have all kinds of birds (sparrows, Starlings, grackles, robins) entering the warehouse and nesting on beams and inside the insulation.
Any ideas? Other than trapping, shooting and manually removing birds and nests.
I would really like to find a permanent or semi-permanent solution because there are many other businesses in this industrial park and I'm sure they have the same problems.

Plastic strip doors installed to the ground level will do a good job with tow motor traffic back and forth. They will reduce bird traffic significantly. It may be an option for you without seeing all the bird entry opportunities besides the bay areas.You will most likely need to do some mist net trapping to removing the resident birds/nesting from the interior after the door installation to start clean. Then sell them a maintenance program as needed to remove the birds that will slip through over time during in/out traffic. The birds will get smart and time their flights with in/out traffic over time as you will see.

I've already discussed this option but they want the doors unrestricted for air flow.
The insect screens would probably work but i'm afraid they would snag on the forklifts.

Talk to Bird Barrier about their hazing system, I contacted them last fall with some questions on it and it was still available then. I'm not sure if it's a good choice where people are constantly present.

Their is no cheap way to do this. Even filling the attic space full of foam would be expensive;-). I think netting, or ptting a floor on top of the beams so that not only would it get rid of the birds it would give them additional space for storage. Electrical shock strips. I don't like spikes birds are always trying to defeat them and do a lot. electricity is one thing animals want to avoid and don't spend a lot of time defeating it.
Those are my thoughts I'm not sure I have the answer.

Birds are not my forte but I would like to mention what I am seeing in my area with a lot of the "post tornado" construction on retail buildings, box stores, etc. Perhaps you have already considered it. The entry ways have a high cfm rush of air that comes down at an outward angle providing some very nice relief from the outside temps as you walk in. When I commented on this to an employee they said it was actually designed to keep birds and flies from coming in as it disrupts their flight. I have noticed that a lot of the new grocery stores that have delis, bakeries and produce near the front have this system....and now I know why. Maybe this type of system would work in your situation.

Hey Mike could you get a name for that product. I like to know a lot of options and that sounds promising for just this type of situation.

Air curtains are not very effective in my experience with sparrows and barn swallows.You gotta learn a few things about birds as some of the remedies out there do not work very well if they work at all.Total closure or strip curtains are your best prevention/reduction medicine.Anything less is a waste of time for you and money for your customer.
