Beautiful trap and my understanding the pat date model a good one to have. There are a few guys that know values well and will respond but I’ll take a stab and say around $2000 because of the damaged springs.

I have no clue on value, especially since the springs are somehow bolted or riveted open, but I would think that would greatly reduce value.

Hi there, thanks for your comment. The springs are just held open with the black carriage bolts! Trap is in working condition if removed.

Unfortunate that the bolts were installed.

If it's an original pat date trap it would have been in the $5k range had the springs not been ruined, maybe higher to the right collector. It still has value to someone that can find replacement springs but the original collector value unfortunately has been lost. If it was an early pat date model with stamped springs it's even more of a shame.
On the plus side, it's still a Number 6 and will display well.

Yes but someone drilled holes in the springs to put them there

I'm located in N.H. What do you want for the trap? Thanks.
