Friend has #2 Victor longsprings. He said he didn't move chains.

Just curious...
Chains (in pics) are on left or right springs. WHY?

Someone at the factory, on a Monday morning after a long weekend?

They appear to be on the same spring side if they are all oriented the same such as dog forward. Or is this where they are different from other Victors? Honestly never paid much attention, just slapped em in the ground.

If your holding the spring with the chain the dog appears to be on the right side on all the traps unless I’m missing something? Seems normal to me.

all 10 traps have the chain on the same spring. factory located chains.
