Unless I’m missing something a Herters bear trap is over $1400 on an online auction. To me that should be a few hundred dollar trap. Not sure how to link but if you’re interested it’s McMullen Auctions out of Thief River Falls MN

There is also a few other traps on the auction.

That does seem a little high. They only thing I can find is they were made in the 1970's and in brand new condition show $600 -$650.

I was dropping some things off for the auction and one of the owners asked me what I thoughts were. I thought 5-700 but wouldn't surprise me if it would bring a grand.

Hammer price was 1760 plus ten percent buyers commission and sales tax.

Just went through the auction. Looks like now would be a good time to be a seller.

There are two rusty 110s that are up to 20 for the pair.

Auctions are a good place to sell most times but need to pay the sellers condition also.

This particular auction has a ten percent seller fee and a ten percent buyer fee.

I sold a gun here before and did well. Wanted to get something’s in this one but never made it down there to drop them off. I’m considering selling some traps there.

Same auction company, this item sold for $2125 plus tax and %10 buyers fee.

Was just at a sale a couple of weeks ago. The same Herters Bear trap went for $1200. A #4 1\2 New house Went for $850. That one might have been worth that. Complete trap and chain with square rebar drag.
