I am new to this “Old trap thing” and now realize it is an addiction! 🤣. I came across this old victor and seems to have a different spring opening on the bottom. Any ideas?

This spring is from a 1939 model Victor Stop Loss. The trap has a delay plate for the stop loss bail, the plate has a nub on the bottom that goes into that keyhole slot when set.

snakecollector That is a neat old trap .And it looks to be in very good condition .I have been involved with trapping for 50 plus years but I do not remember ever seeing one like that. Thanks for posting
