I'm guessing its a Bullock trap,pretty rare trap to find,I would try cleaning lightly with a wire brush and wd 40 and see if anything comes up on the pan

i put the wd 40 to the pan and i could make out the word bullock.. will have to google it and see what comes up

I agree with traphound, it's a Bullock, only thing you'll find for letters will be Bullock and the size in the center of the pan, they were stamped light, but whether you find the name or not, still a very rare trap and hard to find.

measures 6” from jaw post to jaw post, as well as 6” for inside jaw spread so i guess this is a #3 size.. can make out the stamping on pan once i zoomed in. thank you for all the information..really cool old trap!
