Anybody have any ideas on this old trap?

I have no info on it but it appears to be very well made.

Wow, this is the first trap I have seen where one spring is mounted below the trap frame and the other is mounted above the trap frame. The spring steel is also more squared where they are attach to the base and jaw posts. Square nuts and course threads should establish a time frame.I am in no way a trap collecting expert, I just look at things that are different. Nice share.

That's a different looking one. Looks like a talented blacksmith back in the day.

Also when you look at the underside of the spring in the 4th photo you will see a raised rim on the steel. interesting.
