Different 110s - 07/18/19 11:17 PM

Bought some 110s at auction and some have a dog like a formed piece of no. 9 wire. Never seen anything like them, anyone shed any light on them.

Does it have a wavy appearance to it? Sort of scalloped.

Pretty sure they would be montgomery's. They look like wire with humps on it. And I may be wrong but I believe they were called stake n take.

That is what I was thinking.

If you look at the part of the trigger that holds the wire in place, it should be stamped. MTI

I have a few of those myself. Anyone know if you can replace the dog with a Victor or another manufacturer and make them more usable?
