I looked in tom Parrs book and only found 1 time period when that trap was made.1882-95.However the pan markings indicate 1937-66. #4 raised pan.I am guessing.someone changed the pan.Also one spring seems a little newer than the other. A little bigger and thicker.

Yes snake collector is correct it's pieced together. Doesn't make it worth a whole lot to collectors. However I've seen garbage traps like that do 150-280 $ at local farm / antique auctions.
