Newhouse #4 and #2 1/2 - 11/23/16 06:10 AM
Hey guys,
I picked up three Newhouse traps the other day and would like to find out a value on them if I could. The first is a S. Newhouse #4 Pat. Sept. 26. 11. with most of the original chain but no loop. It also has dot markings on both springs but if there was stamping on the spring it is no longer visible. Pan is getting difficult to read and has a device to keep the pan from pulling up too far. The second is a S. Newhouse #4 Pat. Sept. 26. 11. the chain has been shortened and has an L lock attached for a drowning setup. The spring has stamping and the pan is very legible. The third is a Newhouse 2 1/2 with teeth, chain and loop are complete. Spring has stamping in it but is hard to see as is the pan, had to use a little flour to be able to read the pan. Thanks, Zip
