picked up a victor round pan stoploss today with the VICTOR stamped on jaws.
has the stubby long spring...is this correct or a trapper fix of multiple traps put together to make 1?

first 1 I have found and honestly thought I bought pile of user traps didn't notice till sorting them out at home.....I hope I didn't leave any behind as I stopped bidding/buying piles as I already spent to much...lol

You got my curiosity about that spring. I checked my #1 with Victor jaws and it has a regular spring on it. I kind of recall the Victor stamped jaws may have been made for one year for an anniversary or something. And I think the "shorty" spring model was only made for a short time too.

I am hoping someone chimes in and gives us the low-down!!!!!!

It has a "short spring" as I recall.
