"The World's Finest Traps" AUTOMATIC...Mouse Trap - 08/29/15 02:03 AM

Did a day of garage sale picking today and found a mouse trap I have never seen and I can't find much info on it. It is all steel and looks like a large version of the McGill Mouse Traps I have seen before. It's about 3 X 5 inches and appears to be in unused condition.

On the top it has "The World's Finest Traps" over "AUTOMATIC" Pat. No.2321617. To the right of that, in circular format, is "Automatic Trap Co. Inc." In the middle of that is "Webster City IA"

Would appreciate any info about this trap including how old and what it might be worth.

Thanks in advance!

Did a different search and if everyone on Ebay is telling the truth, it was made in the 30's. Also looks like it was actually a trap for rats or small animals.

If anyone has any further info on this it would be appreciated.
