just picked up a grell trap
has chain swivel and 4 prong grapple
jaws have teeth....crown stamp and grell on spring near eyelet
in good shape other then the pan missing!!!!
guy i got it from is going to keep looking for it.
any info on this trap or maker?
i will post pictures later tonight

old guy i bought it off of said it was a 6...both jaws are stamped with 6
also 27 is stamped on cross member
i will dig out camera later and get a picture

any one have info make a Grell trap?
i can't seem to find anything on internet other then 1 with square jaws that went up for auction few years back
its too bad he broke the pan off...but hopefully he can find for a weld on job.
anyone that could give me some more info on dates and maker i would appreciate it.

Yes, E. Grell was a renowned trap making business in Haynau, Germany. The crown symbol was the logo for this company who made traps of all sizes and types
