something different--a no.1 long spring with cast iron jaws and VICTOR stamped into the side of the pan deep enough to show on the back of the pan. I can't find any info. on this.Has anyone seen this type of trap?
Rick, Need more info, can you post some good photos? What else is on the pan besides "Victor"?

Thanks for the return. The pan is rusted to the point that VICTOR in a semi circle along the out side edge is all i can make out. I will get some pics. this weekend. thanks Snakecollector.

I would guess an early victor onieda community,,I have seen those with a very deep stamping
