found this little muskrat trap at antique store. kinda cool how they made a long spring design that uses a coil spring. only little muskrat trap I have seen with teeth. any one know year or any info in this trap? thanks Mont
Yes, that is a very rare trap. The three jaws are very common but the longspring/coil hybrid is rare. If you decide to sell it let me know. I would love to have it in my collection.
Thank you for your offer but for now I will hold it. I will ask the guy I got it from if he has more for you. I'm slowly putting together a triumph collection....they are affordable. Mind set up here seems to be every old trap is just a trap and not collectable unless it says newhouse or Hawley Norton.
