Taylor long spring trap q's - 11/14/14 08:08 PM

i just recently procured a Taylor Special no 2 long spring. Found it while digging trenches for drainage pipes. Who knows how long it's been there. Anyways it's the double long spring with metal teeth on one of the jaws. Would post pics but do not know how off of my phone.
Anyways was wondering if any of you out there know a little about the trap and maybe the value of it.
Thanks

Hi, I don't know much about taylor special traps. So I checked out my trap collectors price book and it says your trap is valued between $30.00 for good condition and $60.00 for Excellent condition.

I have a #1 longspring Taylor Special.

The Taylor Specials are fairly common traps and will be hard pressed to reach those book prices. The Trappers Special is a more scarce trap and can bring up to 100 if very nice.
