Did the Dognot stakes come from the factory on victor 3 Dls? I have a few and was curious if they were original to the trap

I believe they came stock on some Victor 3Ns. Might have been something requested by a certain government agency.

Interesting, do you reckon they sold them separately? These traps are def. not 3n, although one is marked property of U.S. but has reg non-cast jaws.

Anybody have pictures of them and how connected? I have some 3ns and dognot stakes laying around. I think it would make a nice display hanging together.

Can't say how earlier stakes were obtained by the US Govt, but a job corps center in Wyoming made many during the late 60s-mid 70s for agency installation.

I had one with the dog knot stake ,it was attached with a LAP LINK between 2 washers.I also had a couple pairs of 3ns attached to 1 drag ,all were stamped.

The dog knots I have are like what harold stated. Lap link and washer on top and bottom.
