There used to be a Russian trapper on here with the handle "Taegnik"
Havent seen him post since the war in the Ukraine.He might be familiar with that trap.

Yea, I remember him. I remember that it was clear english was not his first language, but he still got his point across. You are right, havent noticed him for a while.

Yes, it is the Russian trap. "Petrel" is called. This model was done in the city of Novosibirsk. It in 700 km from the city where I live. Now this model isn't made.

At us the season on a muskrat already opened. In couple of days I will go it to catch. I will live outdoors, to catch a muskrat, to shoot a duck. To drink vodka. If it is interesting, I can make many photo from this trip and will share them with you

It is a trap No. 1 in it catch the Mink, a muskrat, a marten, a sable, a column...

Cool. I was not sure how big it was because I have not seen the trap in person.
