Some folks got angry when warned of this game plan - 02/11/09 03:57 PM

I guess a lot of folks thought they could forget what Rosie, Gore,Brady & the Clintons were trying to pull off at your expense. Anyone remember trying to stem the Million Mothers Marching Rhetoric ( http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=2330) which tried to destroy gun ownership?? Now their plan gains momentum, not because the public wants it, but because the public lost track of just how big government can get.

FYI, - - most recent was Austrailia to lose their rights, so do not assume
it could not happen. NY, PA,MA and orher states will push hard and probably
begin with hand guns and/or some automatic gunss and go from there

Are you ready for the House Bill titled 'HR 45, Blair Holt Licensing
and Record Act of 2009'. It will make it illegal to own a firearm unless it
is registered with the database in Washington D.C.
As a gun owner you will have to be finger printed, you will be required to
provide your DL#, SS#, you must maintain a valid address at all times,
submit to mental and physical health records being put on file, you will
also be required to file any address changes and any ownership changes even
if a private sale. Each update will cost $25 and if you fail to comply you
will lose your right to own firearms. This bill and its language mirror
almost completely one defeated last year in the House of Representatives by
soon to be Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Will we the citizenry be as lucky
this time?

Pass this on to everyone who believes in strict Constitutionalism and
remember that laws only apply to those who obey them. Criminals by
definition and nature do not abide by laws. New laws and restrictions only
apply to the law abiding citizen and are not written with the criminal in
mind. With guns, it is not about having laws on the books to prosecute
individuals, it is about taking guns away from the people so that no one has
them in the first place.
One last item to note, when assuming power and creating a facist state,
Hitler was a proponent of strong gun laws because a disarmed populace was
much easier to control than an armed one. The kings of old also outlawed
weapons of any kind in any region that they conquered to quell the ability
of the citizens to uprise against them.

The Founding Fathers of this nation understood all of the above and
because of this they included the second amendment in the constitution. In
fact, they knew that at some point in every society's life span that the
need for the population to arise came about. To this end they made the right
to keep and bear arms against a tyrannical state an absolute right that
could not be revoked.
They did this because the first thing tyrants and despots do is to remove a
population's right to defend themselves When this is done, the tyrants have
no problem with the destruction of society as we know it.

Send this on to all true patriots! Protect your Second Amendment!

The following is a summary of the bill as provided by the
Congressional Research Service. If you read the whole bill, you'll find it
will effectively preclude the ownership of ANY firearms by law-abiding
people unless licensed by the Attorney General. How long do you think THAT
would take??
Congressional Research Service Summary
The following summary was written by the Congressional Research
Service, a well-respected nonpartisan arm of the Library of Congress.
GovTrack did not write and has no control over these summaries.
1/6/2009--Introduced.
Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 -
Amends the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act to prohibit a person from
possessing a firearm unless that person has been issued a firearm license
under this Act or a state system certified under this Act and such license
has not been invalidated or revoked. Prescribes license application,
issuance, and renewal requirements.
Prohibits transferring or receiving a qualifying firearm unless the
recipient presents a valid firearms license, the license is verified, and
the dealer records a tracking authorization number.
Prescribes firearms transfer reporting and record keeping requirements.
Directs the Attorney General to establish and maintain a federal record of
sale system.

Prohibits: (1) transferring a firearm to any person other than a
licensee, unless the transfer is processed through a licensed dealer in
accordance with national instant criminal background check system
requirements, with exceptions;

(2) a licensed manufacturer or dealer from failing to comply with reporting
and record keeping requirements of this Act;

(3) failing to report the loss or theft of the firearm to the Attorney
General within 72 hours;

(4) failing to report to the Attorney General an address change within 60
days; or

(5) keeping a loaded firearm, or an unloaded firearm and ammunition for the
firearm, knowingly or recklessly disregarding the risk that a child is
capable of gaining access, if a child uses the firearm and causes death or
serious bodily injury.
Prescribes criminal penalties for violations of firearms provisions
covered by this Act.
Directs the Attorney General to: (1) establish and maintain a firearm
injury information clearinghouse; (2) conduct continuing studies and
investigations of firearm-related deaths and injuries; and (3) collect and
maintain current production and sales figures of each
licensed manufacturer. Authorizes the Attorney General to certify
state firearm licensing or record of sale systems.

Pleased be advised and pass this along: House Bill HR 45, Blair Holt
Licensing and Record Act of 2009 Will, in my opinion, be the first of 2 or 3
steps toward confiscation of privately owned firearms.

You can follow the sequence as it already happened in Canada and the UK.
First the government needs to register the guns so they will know where to
find them.

If they want to find guns I'm sure they could start by reading a list of all those who buy a hunting license each year.

I'm all for registering guns. Sooner or later the knuckle-heads in Washington will start realizing that us law abiding hunters aren't the ones involved in drive-by shootings.

The FOID card sure does wonders in cities like Chicago, Rockford and Aurora to name a few!! Illinois, most strict gun laws and only getting worse. And the new Prez is an Illinoian.

I am against weapon registration of ANY type. Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin and a number of other Politicains implemented it and then confiscated. How many gun owners do you think are in China right now? They will use this as a way. Before you know it, if you get stopped for a speeding ticket, you will get your guns confiscated. Get into an argument and your guns will be taken. Yell at some one and you will have a anger control issue and they will take them. As for the drive bys as long as they are doing to each other who cares? I think we should bring back dueling. The second amendment is the most import because it give the muscle to the others. How many will lose jobs and livilyhoods to remove guns? I will never be a slave.

Re: Some folks got angry when warned of this game plan - 02/11/09 04:56 PM

Maryland is working on a bill right now that if you have a restraining order filed against you, you will have to surrender your firearms.

I too am against having to register firearms. It IS the first step toward tyranny. I don't think we are heading toward just socialism, I think we are headed toward fascism (sp) as someone already pointed out.

Re: Some folks got angry when warned of this game plan - 02/11/09 05:06 PM

Criminals don't register guns they steal them. How can you endorse a politician that even remotely endorses gun control laws. There is no change, the individuals that are being appointed to key positions are all left-overs from the Clinton administration, the era of the Brady Bill.Guns do not commit crimes people do.We are in for a very anti gun/sportsman,political movement.CHANGE is definately in our future as gun owners. "Now that we have removed guns from the hands of private citizens our police and military can now do their jobs" Hitler. Our founding fathers knew that for a people to remain free, there had to be checks and balances. We have the right to defend ourselves from corrupt government and the people have the right to protect their homes,if that right is lost we are no longer free. The left will get what they want, complete control and a society totally dependant on government.I don't know about you guys/gals but I'd just assume take care of me and mine, myself.

Teacher on leave after posing with gun on Facebook

By The Associated Press

Posted: Feb. 5, 2009

Beaver Dam - A Beaver Dam Middle School teacher is on administrative leave after school officials discovered a photo of her with a gun on Facebook.

In the photo, Betsy Ramsdale was training a rifle at the camera.

In an e-mail to WKOW-TV in Madison, Ramsdale said she removed the photo immediately and that she is not "interested in any controversy."

Schools superintendent Donald Childs says a concerned staff member brought the photo to the district's attention.

Childs says the use of the photo "appears to be poor judgment" and is unaware of any sinister intent.

Ramsdale's biography on the district Web site states she is in her first year at the school. Department of Public Instruction records show Ramsdale has been licensed to teach since 1996.

I'm not sure about the thread but at the top of trapper talk page one of the first subjects has a link to connect to your senators I believe. You can e-mail your senators through that link.A form letter is not necessary just tell them that you oppose any laws that further restrict gun ownership on non-felons.

Actually they make great slaves if their commanding officer turns the rest of the Gestapo on him and the threat is to obey or pay the consequences. That is how dictators that strip the freemen of their rights get to control the whole team through manipulative laws.

Dictators are cowards, plan and simple. Yeah sometimes the good guy dosn't win. But I will stand alone if I have to and maybe lose before I get pushed around by them.

HR 45 is only one of the many things thrown on so fast (like the stimulus package)that the plan is to get everything passed before the American people have a chance to see it, let alone understand it. The more they keep people down with their scare tactics, the easier they are control. Got to figure out a way to bring people together and break the chain. And that is my point Steeltrap. Good men get put down by dictatorial laws whether they are armed or not. It is much better to protect your rights before the laws are made by folks that you were worried about, in the first place. I have been concerned about the direction of the New World Order for about 20 years now. Some folks 20 years ago laughed at my concerns and would not believe that we have reached this threshold so quickly even if I told them it was coming down the pipes last September.

Re: Some folks got angry when warned of this game plan - 02/11/09 09:39 PM

It's not just as easy as picking up a couple weapons and saying "Hey lets go take our freedoms back". It has been well said that "you only have the rights and freedoms that you know about". More than ever the fight is more a fight of thought and personal values than of mere brute force.

Some of you need to ask yourselves WHY America is turning this way. Think about it. In less than fifty years we have gone from a freedom loving Republic to a handout loving socialist nation. Why such an abrupt "change" in fifty years of history? Who changed Americas intellect so? The answer can be found and it is a sinister one indeed.

Find it and the ways of America today are easily explained.
