The real cost of importing ........ - 06/06/10 11:42 AM

Although this is a Canadian add trying to wake up Canadians, North America had better wake up to the reality of the message. We buy cheap today but we are killing "OUR" tomorrows!

I sure hope so Dave. Our North American farmers/ranchers need support from us consumers in order to protect their livelihood which in turn supports "OURS".

Not only Canada is prone to this unequal import /export system. Something is very wrong when this type of Shipping trade of has become the norm for North America.

The North American consumer needs to be more aware of labeling . If we buy local the stores will start to offer more local goods which will increase the demand and give more North Americans incentive to start up small farms and for larger farms to stay in business.
