Anyone ever use a Crock- Pot for making your waxed dirt ?

Many heat in pan on stove or oven , just wondering about a Crock- pot ?

Just Curious

They work good only get small amounts done at a time. Just set on keep warm setting and once the sides start to look wet give it a stir and start next batch. In a couple hours can get ten gallons made up. I've done it a couple times when I ran out late in the season and only need a few gallons to finish the season off.

I have used a roaster before. Crockpot would probably work for small batches. I have a cement mixer now and mix 10 gallons up at a time.

X2 the only way to fly, I'm spoiled it's the only way I've done it. Hoping this weather holds i would like to make another 100 gallons.

I use a turkey crock pot, only way to do it.

Roasters work great, but the solar method does work.
