Used shorts all this year. Worked perfect.

I use whatever I have, and both work well.

I shoot CB shorts in my pistol and CCI Quiets in my rifle- no issues

Be very careful with Colibri. I have seen them stick in the barrel! Super Colibri is a better choice with a little powder, but less than the CB shorts most places sell.

Shorts, if only because they're quieter.

Long rifle hollow points, when .22s were hard to find I had to use solid points, I would deform the head enough it would tumble or expand more
I've used the colibri and don't like them. I prefer cci cb shorts

The names "Short-Long-Long Rifle" and CB, don't mean much more than the length of the brass. You have to go by the rated velocity! Not all Colibri's are "Sans Powdre"!

shorts and CBs was always a lot of dinking around so I went with the HP long rifles. Same result, no exit holes, and can be used for other things.

cci cb shorts. Or, do what Beav does, or stand back about 20yds and behind the shoulder with .17 HRM. No exit. I had a pass though behind the shoulder last week with a cb short from about 10 yds.
