Thanks guys!
Since of course I lost this one, lol, the new one I made was from an old screwdriver, slightly smaller diameter. Cut the groove with a over sized cutting wheel on a rotary tool like a big Dremel tool. I think it works even better than the original.
Rolled this way the tags make a pretty good wammy (support collar) in a pinch too.

Great Idea. I don't build my own CRs but I do build my own earth anchors and all my tags are attached to my anchors not the CR. So this will work great for that application.

So those old screw drivers with the slot that went into the plastic handle that held (what you did not need but always needed) would do the same. In the drill chuck.

I’ve been using this system for my snare whammies since ADC posted it originally. However I used an old hinge part and one of those twirly screwdrivers I had that had a broken tip. Also if you are buying premade snares, don’t fret you can still manage to use this setup. The slot does not go all the way through. I hope the photos load. I have never thanked ADC formally for putting me onto this and making life a bit easier on the snare line, so thanks a bunch! It has saved time and parts.
