I'm in need of a little advice from you experts. My parents have a coyote coming through the yard about 50 meters from the house and they want it gone. They have two dogs that are kept in the yard via invisible fence (the coyote stays outside the invisible fence, but on the property), but there are a couple neighborhood dogs that run the streets and are known to run around in the same area as the coyote.

Do you guys make a set, or scratch it due to the high probability of incidental catch with the neighborhood dogs?

I'd set it and have a catch pole ready to release the neighbors dogs. What is your trap/chain setup look like?

Trap setup is a dogless Bridger #2 offset 4-coil, with swivel-chain-swivel-shock spring-swivel-anchor.
