How do you set your traps? I can't get it down and I got #2 Dukes

Do they have a dog or are they dogless?

Back quite a few years ago when I was learning to set traps. I would put them on my knee and use the edge of my hands to pull the levers down and flip the dog over the jaw. Another way is stand on the levers or spring if a long spring and set them that way. If you’re doing longsprings and standing on them make sure you stand as close to the eye as possible to try and not smash the end of the spring.

You can step on the levers with your feet I just use my knee but step on the levers drop the jaws down an just lift up the pan till it clicks on the jaw should be good to go

Stepping on them works good for setting coil spring traps too.

Another option is to buy the One handed setters
