What leaves a trail like this

Hard to see, maybe a porcupine...................

Well something killed all my chickens but one. A month ago and we never found them all. My kid was just out walking around on snow shoes in the woods and found this back behind our chicken coop with a dead chicken down under a tree

That looks like one of those sidewinder snake tracks.

Well then my guess would be something in the weasel family dragging one of your chickens. I've seen something similar where a mink dragged a muskrat across a frozen pond.

Maybe a flapping chicken wing.

Can you tell anything from what's left of the chicken carcass?

Something smaller than a chicken, Weasel would be my guess. Tracks covered by drag marks.

I would guess weasel also...... dragging something backwards

X3 on the weasel dragging something. Used to see similar tracks around the bait pile out at camp. I used to see them drag pieces of bait much heavier than them selves across the yard only to start chewing on it there. I always thought why not just save yourself a bunch of work and chew on it right at the bait pile. Idk. I’m sure they have their reasons
