The natural gas we heat with here comes from OK. 3 refineries here in KS and lots of oil wells. It might get a bit pricey but its not time to panic yet. It doesnt matter how much oil we produce here,there is hardly any manufacture of goods here anymore,Once nothing is coming and going thru the ports there will be nothing on the shelves.
Apparently 80% of oil moves thru the straits in the middle east.Even if there is enough fuel for a few tankers it is going to make the price of everything extreme,and probably inadequate to meet needs.
