Today we did manage to take a break from seeing patients and view the solar eclipse! I made some fun themed snacks, Zarg Nut Bites and a Mango Milky Fizz. And a good excuse to wear my Nebula shirt!

I’m sure you’ll find another way to do something nerdy! Earth day is coming up! I already requested off!

Mango milky fizz sounds good. How do you make this concoction?

I don’t get it. I’m glad folks are enjoying it but I don’t get all the hype. To each his own

Blend coconut milk with some apricot jam, a can of diced mangoes plus the juice. Pour into cups and then add seltzer. I didn’t measure. This was actually part of a HelloFresh promo kit that I won. I just bought the ingredients in bigger containers to serve more people.
The Zarg nut bites are easy and everyone loved them. Lightly crush pretzels and cashews, add mini chocolate chips, diced dates, mix in a little peanut butter and some Thai chili sauce. Garnish them with kosher salt. Very hard to work with until you chill. Otherwise it’s a sticky mess

I was just looking for a reason to do a theme that I love. Those movies are so incredibly fun. Plus it’s nice to share with friends and I wanted to do something special for my work buddies

I understand and glad you had a good time. I just don’t understand the hysteria about it. I was pulling an irrigation well and the boys brought me a welding helmet. I took a look and said neat. Looks like the last one I saw.

^^would have been way cooler to be in the actual line of travel. Where the sky got dark.
To be honest, outer space kinda scares me.

Didnt do much here. Got a lot darker last time. Just looked like late evening for about a half hour but the shadows were short not long. That was a bit odd.

I’m thirsty for more of the drink but it’s all gone. Would have been good with a little coconut rum in it
