Lost the best person I ever met

My step father(David Washburn) passed away February 20th of this year.Im still in shock and finding it hard to deal with.This man took a six year old boy full of anger and hate and showed me the great outdoors teaching me to trap,hunt,and fish.What I would give to hear his voice again.Love you and miss you dad.Thank you.I will always cherish the memories.R.I.P.See you again in Heaven.

I wish you healing and you were very fortunate to have him in your life.

My son has a stepdaughter and I hope someday she feels the same about him. He does so much with her, and she loves to be with him doing things. It just makes my heart feel so good because she needs a father figure.

It’s tough my step dad’s birthday was yesterday along with my daughter. Dad was the best guy I knew. Lost him in September of 21. He was always excited about anything outdoors related along with farming and cattle. Not many if any days go by without his memories. I know what you’re going through time will heal.

Sorry for your loss, I was 24 when my Dad passed. Would love to hear his voice again. I told my students to start recording there parents, grandparents siblings etc. They will forget there voice and the stories.

So awesome that he was there for you when you needed him. Hunting, fishing and trapping can bond people and make us better, like nothing else can. I hope someone reading this will choose to make a difference in the life of a child.
