It would be better if you didn't need a stamp.
it would be great if they dropped
suppressors
short barrel rifles and short barrel shotguns form NFA1934 it was bad legislation from the get go
SBR and SBS are there because they had it all in to ban handguns and SCOTUS told them that would kill it. then they forgot to take out the things they did to try and close up pistols by making short rifles or shotguns illegal.
then realizing they messed up in 1936 they had to change 22 rifles to 16 inch barrels lots of them out there a very common household gun
then in 1968 after the US government sold many thousands of M1 carbines with a 17 inch barrel they dropped all rifles to 16 inch
also in 1936 they made exceptions to allow AOW a 5 dollar registration of shotguns that started life with a barrel shorter than 18 inches as Ithaca had made their defender with a short barrel for a few years before 1934 and they were popular with the well connected.
flawed from the beginning , the US government was the biggest offender of it . always a double down and little change never accepting it was wrong
take the win on short process time and buy what you want , if for some reason it were to get struck down highly unlikely then great you wasted a little cash , most of us have probably wasted more on less.
