fishing rod I'd help? - 03/22/24 07:10 PM
I know this is a trapping forum but there is also a wealth of general knowledge here so I thought I would ask for some help. I have an ocean city fishing rod. I know true value took over making ocean city reels after 1957 but I don't know when ocean city quit making rods. Anyone here have any idea?

Thanks anyway. I know it's old so I paired it up with a Shakespeare wondercast EE.

True Temper, not True Value
looks like rods stopped in 1968

"Ocean City Manufacturing Company, founded in 1923, was one of the leading fishing tackle companies in the United States for several decades up through 1968. Among fly fishermen, Ocean City is known largely for its inexpensive, mass-produced cast fly reels in the 50’s and 60’s."
