For me, it is being born, living it and then the end of it. How you live it is up to you.

Vanity is how Ecclesiastes describes it. Meaningless. How do you differentiate yourself from the other 8 billion people on the planet? We're almost as common as ants and our passage here will be forgotten within a couple generations of our passing.

People, unlike ants, are created in God's image.

There are around 20 quadrillion ants on earth. That is the same as 1,000,000 billions. There is only around 8 billion people on earth.

I know. I just think there's an amazing number of ants. That many of any animal, even when tiny, is impressive. The biomass of ants is phenomenal.

I think being a parent is as good as it gets on this plane.. and knowing God. Sharing that with children to give them a foundation.

Work get a head, raise and teach my children to be good people. Now at an older age, help those that need help and be kind to everyone else.

i believe god is the creator which in turn makes his purpose to create and rule his creations. our purpose is to exist as his creations, enjoy his other creations and become the best versions of ourselves possible all while serving god. in short i believe my purpose is to appreciate the world around me and experience all of the joy in it and choose to appreciate it as we have free choice to appreciate or hate, a choice god gave us. as well as loving our creator who loved us so much he shared existence with us as god was the only person or thing in the whole universe to exist

Add legacy to my last name, be proud of it and ensure that it moves forward for another generation.

The word interpreted as "meaningless " in ecclesiasties actually means something like " morning mist". What he's saying is that life and everything in life is only here for a moment. Time is a weird thing when you try to understand it. We talk about the future and the past, but the future doesn't exist at any point and the past is gone. So all you actually have to work with is the present.
I do believe we were put here to glorify God and encourage others. How we glorify God isn't as easy to answer as you might think. Sure it might be in church but it also might be painting a picture or making a child smile, or a million other things. What's important is that those things be done from love.

To be a good man and follow Jesus Christ without him your nothing!.

Tolerate life and pray for an early death. I know this sounds morbid but you know life ain't getting any easier and what awaits us is so much greater. I am not looking to die, but if I die tomorrow I have made my peace with it.
