Their web page said the rent had gone way up so they decide to relocate but still in business.

Nope, It's a crying shame, but I've been assured Tubari is out of the business for good.

Their web site has been saying that for several months (maybe more).

I get the feeling they are out of business on a permanent basis. But that is just my opinion.

Going to put a lot of pressure on Moyles, Sleepy Creek, and others.

I sent an email earlier last week and just got a reply that said “sorry, no opening date yet”. Too bad they are done, they were great to deal with.

Now who to send to on east coast? Z&L? Are they good to deal with?

there maybe some person or persons interested in starting up a new business. Continued low fur prices and a different set of goals for those new trappers coming on board may make a new business profitable over time.

I sent and email a month ago and this is the reply I got.

Dear Charles

Due to an exorbitant rent increment by the landlord we are relocating.

We should be back in operation by end of March 2024.

Funny thing is… that’s where my fur went went GNF went out of business.

The main man at Great Northern went to Tubari when GNF closed. Interesting………….
