I would be more worried about my shoulder and neck/spine. Than my bill fold. Man I must be getting old.

That seems kinda cheap for a gun like that, if I was into muzzle loaders I’d probably buy it.

Not anymore, Danny. You can't import ivory, at least not raw ivory.

Wowzzza, I would think them 4oz balls would make for some serious recoil.
Danny, if you buy that thing I will be more than happy to watch YOU not me shoot the darn thing. laugh I am sure my bullet traps would do fine, but don't think I want ya shooting the plates. Speed usually kills the plates, but that big of a ball may just bend them into a C shape. whistle

I went to africa a few years back with my son who was hunting. A couple days into the hunt, trackers found an elephant track dragging its front leg. Got permission from game commission that night to hunt it next day. My son killed it and when skinned, had two round balls almost an inch in diameter in front shoulder.

From what I have read they often loaded it with a HANDFULL of black powder.

Sir Samuel Baker had a 2 Gauge built - he called it "baby" think it was near 30 pounds in weight
