Do you see a increase or decrease in number of students taking your classes as compared to a few years ago?

Shoot all the Deer on state land, lose hunters. Our Deer management system is a joke.

Decrease, but the on-line class option has increased.

About the same overall for Basic Hunter Education. But, have seen an increase in the students taking the hybrid online/field day class and a decrease in the full in-person classes.

Has been about the same number of bowhunter education, trapper education and turkey education students also.

Demographic wise, we have seen an increase in female students. As well as an increase in Hispanic, Asian and Black students.

We are planning more introduction type classes also. We just finished an introduction to upland bird hunting event yesterday. Went pretty well, everyone was safe and had a great time. We partnered with Quail Forever and they did an outstanding job!

Took my grandson last year. Class was about the same size as when I took my kids.

Been teaching it for 5-6 years at our local club. Two classes with 34 seats available every fall. Always a full class each time. As many females as males taking the class.

Used to hold 2 classes a year with 70 students total. Now luck to have one class with 10 students.

I taught one class this fall, and in the shotgun portion we had around 54 students.. Out of that probably 30 had never picked up a gun in their life.. They all listened and took it seriously. I was happy to see that. Its good to see new outdoorsman/women come in..
