Made in US, supposedly by an Amish company. I have used them in the last few months. They seem to sell up as good as anything else for me. They seem to me to be a little thicker and they make a different sound when they seal up.

Thanks, just googled them and found their website. Looks like I might give them a try.

I have used them the last 2 years and had no failures. They are probably the best I've used.

I tried them and a few people I know tried them too. Quite a few didn't seal. I won't buy them again.

The wife only uses Ball or Kerr. She won’t use the Golden Harvest lids that are easy to find.

The Amish have lids that I've never used, but they seem to keep using them.
There's many different reasons for a false or no seal.
It could as simple as a heat source going out too soon, like an electric stove cycling, or gas or propane running out.
It also depends on the type of canner you use.
These set it and forget it canners ( JMHO) could fail at anytime.
Same as another post about newer slow cookers or crock pots!
Biggest reason for a false seal or no seal is siphoning , caused by any of the above situations.
I haven't used the newer lids for 20 years , except once and they buckled.
I'm not worried about lids in mine or my daughters life times.
But even with good lids , have had false or bad seals because of something simple in changing the processing.

That's funny. I have more failures with Ball than with Golden Harvest. But what's funnier yet is Ball, Kerr and Golden Harvest are all made at the same factory. Be that as it may, I do see a difference in quality with Golden Harvest being superior to Ball. Don't find Kerr lids around here often so have no real opinion on them.
