If I cut a hole in the middle divider between the freezer and refrigerator, will it freeze everything in it?

I'm guessing it depends on just how big a hole you put in.

I’m guessing you would cut some cooling, or at least some electrical. Just my guess.

In case you are wondering this too, the light goes off when you shut the door!!! grin grin

I think in time it might freeze everything but it would take a while.

Sell it and buy a freezer,
If it's manual defrost it will, if it's frost free it probably will if you don't open it often.

If you turn the refer way down, it will freeze anyway so I would think what you want to do would work.

Is this a top freezer?
If heat rises, then by default the cool air would have to sink. If that occurs, then the thermostat will run a lot of extra time and could potentially start frosting the regenerated section if given enough time with out opening any doors.

Where is the little red haired girl when you need her? (The one from Myth Busters- not the one Charlie Brown stalked).
