slow cooking a beef roast. Just started the mashed and corn. Next up gravy and roles. Kinda hands off to night. Do something then wait!

Made Pasta e Fagioli soup. Wife said it was as good as Olive Garden first time I ate it but I do know my batch is a lot cheaper than Olive Gardens

Hi JP and TT, hope you and yours are good. Lol, I could eat chicken ever day. There's only 14 in the skillet, not even 2 meals. That #14 Lodge is my go to for chicken. TT, head South, hope your ok with the fried chicken, mashed taters and white gravy, green beans and homemade bread.

Made some chicken parmigiana and a lasagna, should hold me over from cooking most of the week.

We had meat loaf, garden salad and honey roasted/rosemary carrots. It didn't suck. wink

Found a cast iron skillet that fit the wood stove opening perfect, drops right in there. Did bacon wrapped wt deer blackstraps.

One thing I don't think most people realize is how good outdoorsman eat.

Gonna have back strap, broccoli and mashed taters for supper tonight.
