I do not know the totals here but we are way behind for this part of the country. I can go places now that normally it would take a boat to get into. On the bright side the loggers are loving it.

Henderson N.Y. rainfall average is 42.2 inches a year.

Couldn't find annual rainfall total for 2023.

Looks like Pike county MO had 32.56" for 2023. Looks like normal is about 45". Kind of scary if you ask me.

You guys make me envious. We average 12" annually, and for the past two years, it's been half of that (<6 inches). 2023 was great in that we got 12.5".

I recorded 57.90" where I am. About 12" more than average for this area. Last 3 rain storms put us way over. Should have been snow. I'm not complaining.

Re: 2023 rainfall - 01/01/24 11:29 PM

Our average is around 30 inches per year with normal snowfall. We are considerably short of that this last year. Interesting that right now streams are close to normal and our water table sloughs are dry!

Average is 45" but we're way behind in 2023. Charlottesville,VA received 26" in 2023.

I looked up a table, says we got 46.09”. Seems like it’s been plenty wet here since June.

Just under 30” here in Covington, VA. Little on the dry side for the year. I’ll take it. It was nice not having any June Monsoons.
