I keep mine coiled

I do also but in a backpack they still seem to entangle. Thought about carrying in a coffee can.

I used zip lock bags. 1 per bag so I knew how many I had if I was hiking away from the truck.

Think I may try this unless someone has an even better trick. Deer lease near home needs some pesky beaver removed, so I'll be walking a couple levees hanging snares like hiding Easter eggs later this morning.

Cool them and slide into a gallon zip lock

carry mine in 5 gallon bucket because I always carry alot when seriously setting.
