Some beautiful carvings by Tatiana

This lady surely has a ton of talent. I aways enjoy the pictures she shares of her work. Here's what she said about it.....

"I got my hands on some tiny roe deer antlers. Not much volume to do anything with. I spent a few hours last week toying with them without much planning. Cut a roe deer head on one and made a roe deer/fox reed call from another. It's smaller than it looks, maybe 4 inches long. The mustelid is a steppe ferret – they share the biotope with the roe deer here. I thought I'd share."

She also said.....

"Sorry for the awful fingernails. One should be more careful when setting traps laugh"

Tatiana, You should look into applying for a United States Fish and Wildlife import license and have someone here in the States market for you. OR, on this site maybe.

Beautiful work. As someone who shoots roe bucks I can say she really got it right. I make knife scales and other things from my antlers but nothing like that.
