( my father in law coached a bunch of sports in the 70s and 80s and there were a lot of people concerned that kids would show up and play all season just for the end of year banquet with ice-cream and cake. I am not kidding just goes to show you someone can find fault in everything.)

Being this is the internet, it would be more in line with popular wisdom to shame their parents for feeding them cold sugar instead of plant based fiber. They will obviously forever be obese and unhealthy for life.
