Very interesting "garbage" around the base.
And yes keep the cowboy pic coming, haven't taken a ride in quite some time.
Finding racks is always fun, last one I found was where one jumped a ditch. Ditch dried up this summer and exposed it.

LMBO @ team building!
The fact that he shed that means he survived last season and night need to become a special project next season.

He's over in your old stomping grounds Lefty if u want him. West of Twin mounds about a mile and a half. I'm probably headed west after Muleys this year.

Cool! You found a horse? The grass is greener in Kansas than it is in Minnesota!

That pic with the antler is a pasture about 45 miles west of me. They've been catching a bit more rain there. Our grass around home has really dried up the last 3 weeks in the heat and no rain. We are digging holes with skid loader in ponds that still have water trying to get cattle to water without getting stuck in mud. 3 weeks ago we were thinking we might have a record corn crop now we would be happy if it was average. And it's worse in areas not far from us

As viewed from aboard, those classic cute stubby Quarter ears ...I know that look very well.

He is tolerating the cows wanting to give him kisses .."ok boss, what do I do about this surround sound of attention ?"

Nice to ride them in a flexible bosal headstall.

Thanks for the share .

He pins his ears and acts like he doesn't like the the attention but I think he's just acting tough and actually enjoys it. Something about that horse, the cattle are never scared of him. I'll be riding through a set of pairs and have 15 babies following behind bucking and playing with him....

grin I've known some tough guy horses like that . I've told them , their softie side is kept secret with me ...if he didn't like the cows, they would know that and stay away. He doesn't fool you grin

Seth what’s the green stuff the cattle are walking on and eating? Here’s a pic I sent to Flint hill the other day of our lovely pastures.

All your rain has been coming up here, boys. We been getting showers every day, and twice on some days. Gotta gloat while I can, because this kind of August never lasts long! It will even back out here one of these days……keep the faith!
