FedEx VS mad dad - 06/02/23 12:17 PM

Went to pick up a DeWalt impact yesterday a FedEx truck made a delivery then headed out from the store, a guy that had his maybe 10 year olds girl that was returning the cart starts yelling at the guy to slow down. The FedEx guy stops says he saw the child and it begins and starts to escalate to “ what ya going to do?” stage.

I head over that way told the FedEx guy to just go ( I can’t believe he was not smart enough to just keep going) and learn from it, By stopping he ups the problem to a new level is it worth your job to be manly when you could just learn from it? The other guy just loads up his family except for the girl returning the cart I met her at the door a nice polite young lady.

I thought about the impact on the children when this was going on they seemed find but the adults acted traumatized when they are the ones that escalated the drama. When I was heading over that way at the beginning the girl was pushing the cart back to the store and in a calm voice she saiid, “ that’s my dad” no sign of stress.

So will the kids learn to stand their ground or learn to escalate issues into drama when they grow up?

I woulda egged them on. Why waste an opportunity to see a demonstration of fisticuffs?

Sounds like the girl knew her dad was a hot head and yes, has learned from it before.

part of me wonders will she seek out a hot head as a trait she looks for in a spouse , if your not yelling about how someone has wronged your wife or kids , then you don't care mentality?

First if the Fed Ex Driver put the girl in any danger the Father should have called Fed Ex. Second He needs to stay calm in front of his Daughter. Third the Fed Ex Driver should have just drove away.

Aggression. Very good trait for a man to have. Good for him! Trump supporter no doubt about it!

FedX will tell you that they pay drivers by the hour but they do not. They pay by the day and tell drivers they get ten hrs even if they work 16. They push them into driving like maniacs. He probably really did see the kid. Dad should have raised $&@@$ at the dispersal center. What they are doing to their drivers is dangerous to the public without question.

No thoughts on sending the child to return the shopping cart even after the issue started? RB is thinking along my lines of thinking it’s all about bad judgements not a crime but they could have turned it into one quickly.

The guy yells at the driver the driver drives off to think about what the guy was saying the kids feel safer this could be lesson to both men in the end.

Last Wednesday, I saw a FedEx driver screwing with an Amazon driver on State Route 38 going towards London, Ohio. Both were in semis. The Amazon driver was going slow, 41 in a 55, when I caught up with them. I suspect that he may have brake checked the FedEx driver. The FedEx driver whipped the truck over into the left lane 4 times, on a 2 lane road and started creeping up alongside the Amazon truck, who was going slow, before dropping back into our lane. He looked like he was trying to force the Amazon truck off the road. On his 5th attempt the Amazon driver braked hard and let the FedEx driver past. Any packages in those trucks had to be pretty rattled.
